Ballet at Opera Garnier


I went to see three small ballets by Roland Petit tonight.  They were each around 30 minutes and were modern.  I rushed tickets before the show and got in for 8 Euros!  It was really neat.  
First Ballet:  Part 1 of The Rendez-vous  and   Part 2 of The Rendez-vous 

Third Ballet: Baryshnikov film featuring a summary of The Young Man and the Death













The box I sat in....I was seated behind these three.  I couldn't see anything!

I ended up standing on a chair and lean over the blonde to see!
(That's what you get for an 8 Euro ticket!)

    Karen, who cares that you couldn't see what was going on on the stage? The surroundings were so beautiful that you had plenty to look at. It's hard to tell if the French worship the Catholic Faith or the Arts more from these two last posts. Thanks for sharing the experiences. XO, Mom
